Confirming what we know already, Middle Mayfield has been selected for a feature article in The Times Travel section, focusing on a beautiful circular walk from The Rose and Crown. We really are lucky to live here!
2:00pm Blessing Service
Hall Lane, Middle Mayfield
3.00pm-6.00pm Garden Fete
Mayfield Hall, Hall Lane, Middle Mayfield.
Attractions include Osmaston Wind Band, teas, homemade cakes, Maypole dancing by children from Henry Prince First School, various stalls; fun for the whole family with musical entertainment.
The event is outdoors, with a short walk on level ground between the Well locations and the Fete. These are easily accessed from the roadside, although sensible footwear is advised.
We are so lucky in Mayfield to have a wealth of historic buildings, stories and traditions preserved and celebrated by Mayfield Heritage Group. If you are planning a visit do go to their website, where you can find out more about the area and download a ‘Discovering Mayfield’ walk leaflet.
We would be delighted to host your wedding reception, whether it is a small intimate gathering or a larger party (maximum number of 80). We do not have a formal wedding pack because we believe that each wedding is individual and should be designed to suit your requirements. Danny will discuss the menu with you and we can cater for almost every budget.
Our aim is to ensure that you have a fantastic stress-free day, which you will remember happily for the rest of your lives.
